visages (faces in french) aims at providing a XUL renderer for Sun's JavaServer Faces
Nowadays the only output you can get with JSF is HTML. However renderers are pluggable, so we are willing to develop one that could produce a XUL output.
We think it's possible to combine the power and flexibility offered by JSF and the features given in the client side by XUL
Our target would be intranet applications where client-side requirements are high. We firmly believe that the XUL/JSF/Tomcat could become the platform of choice for this kind of projects.
visages is available under two different licenses: the Apache License v2.0 and the Lesser General Public License, so that users won't be affected by political issues. Our first
target platform includes Tomcat 5.0 and JSF 1.1.
